Radio Akwaaba FM is dedicated to uplifting all Africans residing in the Federal Republic of Germany and those in the Diaspora. Radio Akwaaba FM will successfully fill the gap so that Africans, and those interested in the African culture, will have the opportunity to be exposed to African-related issues, achievements, people, and news.
The daily programmes of Radio Akwaaba FM would include the following:
Morning Devotion: A time of meditation for our listeners to enable them to prepare themselves for the day.
Wake up Africa: A breakfast show to provide our listeners with information and entertainment.
Work & Happiness: An afternoon programme to entertain listeners at their work places as well as those at home.
Rush Hour: A programme to infotainment listeners on their way from work to their home.
Current Affairs: An interesting programme featuring personality interviews, integration issues, polio-socio issues, business issues, children
People's Voice: A phone-in discussion allowing listeners to air their views on matters of mutual interest.
Are U Awake: An open discussion on marital, sexual, religious marriages, parental control and medical issues.
Sankofa Series: An educational platform. A phone-in discussion allowing listeners to know more of the African culture and history.
Young Talk: Programme for the youth to include quiz competitions, teaching aids, interviews and story telling.
Fun 4 U: Comedy and fun time. Information on the weekend activities.
